American Airlines Flight Captain, Michael Johnston Dies While Flying

An American airline flight, Red-eye flight 550 from Phoenix, Arizona to Boston was diverted to Syracuse, New York,  after the pilot, Michael Johnston, dies midair. The co-pilot immediately took charge of the flight, as flight attendants tried resuscitating the captain.

                 

While speaking on the tragic incident, Michelle Mohr, the American Airline spokesperson said that the airline is "incredibly saddened" by the death of the captain and said that the crew are" well qualified to handle situations like these."

The plane was carrying 152 passengers and crew member at the time of the incident.
