Biles posted a screenshot on Twitter, where she talked about how hard it has been for her to keep the thoughts, and blaming herself for the abuse, but she has now come to the realization that it was not her fault. She posted; "I too am one of the many survivors that was sexually abused by Larry Nassar. It is not normal to receive any type of treatment from a trusted team physician and refer to it horrifyingly as the 'special' treatment. This behavior is completely unacceptable, disgusting, and abusive, especially coming from someone whom I was TOLD to trust."

Other teammates of Biles, Aly Raisman, a gold medalist, Gabby Douglas, and McKayla Maroney, also gold medallists, have all come out to report on how the doctor has sexually abused them. Maroney said she was abused by the doctor since 13-years old, until her retirement.
