Brexit Is A Catastrophe And A New Referendum Is Needed -Tony Blair

Former UK Prime minister from 1997-2007, Tony Blair has suggested that the UK should be able to reverse his position on Brexit. He said this during his appearance on BBC radio 4's "Today" program".

Tony described that the decision of leaving the EU as “a catastrophe” and people should be given an opportunity of a second referendum. He added that the country should not leave the EU until it is clearer on the impact of BREXIT on the  economic, social and cultural future in the UK.

The bizarre thing about this referendum is that we took a decision but we still don't know the precise terms. There’s got to be some way, either through parliament, or through an election, possibly through another referendum, that people express their view.

The former premier suggested that the public should be able to switch their verdict if it is clear that the alternatives negotiated by Theresa May is going to be worse.

Economic growth in UK is expected to grow next year over BREXIT uncertainty. Experts have warn that the UK leaving EU would hurt the position of London as a financial hub, unless the UK decides to keep its access to the single EU market by loosening its stance on immigration.
