Rising rap star, Desiigner, was arrested on Thursday (Sept. 8th) on felony gun and drug charges. The rapper was arrested along with four other people who were with him after a road rage incident, according to TMZ.
According to police, Desiigner was in the SUV when they got into a rage with another driver. The driver later called the police with the SUV plate information, and also claim that the occupants of the vehicle pointed a gun at him during the rage.
When officer apprehended the group, they found “a large quantity of loose pills,” including OxyContin and other drugs. All the men were arrested, including the G.O.O.D music artiste, Desiigner.
All the men were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell. Desiigner was also charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing for allegedly threatening the driver with a gun.
A hashtag, #FreeDesiigner trends on Twitter has fans called for his immediate release.
