Ibrahim Gaidam Wins The Yobe Gubernatorial Election

Damaturu, Nigeria:  Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam has been declared winner of the 2015 gubernatorial election in Yobe State. The APC gubernatorial candidate was announced after he polled 334, 847 to defeat his closest rival, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri of the People Democratic Party(PDP) who polled 179,700 votes.

The results were announced at the INEC headquarters by the Collation officer and  Vice-chancellor of Maiduguri,  Prof. Ibrahim Njodi. Also the APC has won 22 out of the 24 seats in the house of assembly election in the state.
