Marie Le Pen Steps Down As Leader Of The National Front leader Party

As the French election approaches, and after securing her second round of the French presidential election, Marie Le Pen has stepped down as the National Front Leader. Marie Le Pen, the far-right presidential candidate told a French TV she needs to be above partisan considerations.

She said the decision to step down as the leader of the party had been made out of the "profound conviction" that has a leader, she will need to bring together all the French people. The presidential candidate tweeted;

So, this evening, I am no longer the president of the National Front. I am the candidate for the French presidency.

Marie Le Pen will face Emmanuel Macron in the election, and though polls indicate that Macron has better chances to the presidency than Marie, but Maria promise to the presidency.
