Mike Huckabee Of Republican And Martin O' Malley Drops Out Of Presidential Race

Mike Huckabee has dropped out of the Republican presidential bid. While announcing his withdrawal to campaign staff at a West Des Moines event centre, Huckabee said that "“Voters are sick of me,” then said that he had called the likely winners of the race, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump and Marco Rubio to congratulate them.

Mike Huckabee had lost in the Iowa poll, the same poll he had won eight years ago. The former Arkansas governor could not gain the support of his audience/supporters, and also raising money for his campaign was difficult and securing airtime for his debates.

Also the democratic candidate, Martin O' Malley also dropped out of the presidential bid for 2016. The former Maryland governor announced he will drop out of the race after a poor performance in Iowa with only 0.56% at the time of this report behind 49.8% Clinton and 49.6% Bernie Sanders.
