In the news that we published yesterday, Mike had said he had gone to Iraq with his mother with some of the their relatives, but while coming, his sick mother, niece and two nephews was blocked from flying to the United States, and he was only allowed because he was a citizen, while his mother and family members only had a green card.

After the news was posted, according to FOX 2Imam Al-Hussainy called the station and told them that the mother of Mike had died five days earlier before the executive order was signed. The Imam said;

That's true. The 22nd of January, his mom died, She did die but that was a couple weeks ago - before the ban.

Mike had contacted the Imam on January 19th, and told him he was going to meet his very sick mother, that had kidney diseases. She died there and on January 22nd, another mosque in the Detroit area had a prayer session for her.

A facebook post of Mike Hager also showed that he had posted about his mom death on Facebook, but his appearance on TV deleted the Facebook post, and won't pick up his home or work phone.

The Imam also said he had voted for Donald Trump, and approved of the travel plan, and said if that is what would make the country safer, the people should allowed him do it.

The Imam called for peace and patience.
