Trump Security Adviser, Michael Flynn Under Investigation For His Communication With Russia

US counterintelligence agents are investigating Trump Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, over a recent communication with Russia. An investigation into Trump inner circle and the Russian government was reported by the wall street journal on Sunday.

The three-star general raised eyebrows when it was reported that he had received money from Russian broadcaster RT to attend a gala celebration in Moscow, and he was reported to have sat next to the Russian president, Vladmir Putin.

Flynn was also reported to have called the Moscow's ambassador to Washington, Sergey Kislyak, a day before the former President Barack Obama signed an order asking the Russian officials to vacate the United States with their family.

Flynn was part of the senior White house staff that was sworn in on Sunday. He is a veteran of America's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was criticized for his hard line comments on Islam, but has sided with Russia and China.
