Hanoi, Vietnam : The ceiling of building C, room 714, 7th floor at Hanoi University, Thanh Xuan containing 20 students collapsed around 2pm yesterday. The large wall which suddenly collapsed, hit a girl, making her go unconscious.

According to a student who witnessed the incident said, a large chunk of from the ce iling wall hit and fell on the head of the girl, injuring her with blood all over the area and later unconscious. The students at the 6th floor confirmed the falling of the brick as they heard the loud bang.
Shortly after the incident, 10 students were rushed to the emergency hospital, Bệnh viện Tuệ Tĩnh(Tue Tinh Hospistal). The unconscious girl name is Nguyen Thuy Linh.

Shortly after the incident, Linh was given first-aid treatment by the students and teachers of the university before later transferred to the hospital
The Acting school head of management, Hoang Anh Hung said that Linh is a third year student of the university from Hai Duong. He said the building C of the university was built in 2003 and put into use in 2006, it has 9 floors.
