US Rapper, Wiz Khalifa Angers Colombians After Visiting Pablo Escobar Grave

US Rapper, Wiz Khalifa has drawn anger from Colombians after a picture the rapper shared on Instagram showed him at the grave where Pablo Escobar, Medellin drug cartel drug kingpin was buried. 

Escobar, drug lord of the drug cartel terrorised Colombia in the 1980s and 1990s, with killing, bribing, and kidnapping.

              

Wiz Khalifa, who had played a show in Medellin on Friday, laid flower and a joint at the grave of Escobar, something that did not go well with Colombians. They went on his page, calling him out by different names for honouring a man that had killed more than 4,000 Colombians when he was alive.

Medellin Mayor Federico Gutierrez asked Wiz Khalifa to apologise for the advocating crime, and said he should have bought flowers to the victims of Escobar violence in the country. The mayor went on, and called the rapper a "Scoundrel"

Pablo Escobar was killed by a joint effort of the Colombian and US government in 1993.

Wiz Khalifa has yet to comment on the on the anger he caused.
