Benjamin Netayanhu

Trump-Netanyahu

President Trump has announced that the US will be pulling out of the Iran Nuclear deal, making a strong stance on his campaign promise to pull away from the deal he had tagged a "terrible deal" by the previous administration.

The President did not work along his allies, especially France, Germany and the UK that had lobbied the White House to stay in the Iran Nuclear deal. A deal they had helped negotiate with the former US administration.

President Trump also re-impose the sanctions that were lifted when the previous deal was signed with Iran. The new move by the US threaten to destabilize the region, and has already caused an oil price surge in anticipation for the withdrawal.

The Iranian economy is currently in decline, and the country currency is also weakening, and the withdrawal will add pressure to President Rouhani and his moderates in the region.

Mr Rouhani had warned that it would be a terrible idea for President Trump to withdraw, but France, Germany and Britain have said they will continue to honour the deal they help negotiate with the Iranian regime.

Trump in the past was not happy with the deal, and has promised to withdraw from the deal, and had also called Iran a country sponsoring terrorism in the Middle East. Trump in his speech said;

The agreement was so poorly negotiated, that even if Iran fully complies, the regime can still be on the verge of a nuclear breakout in just a short period of time.

Israel Loves Trump's New Message

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the country is happy with President Trump stance of pulling out of the deal. Netanyahu released a speech after Trump's speech withdrawing from Iran's deal.

Benjamin said Israel fully supports President Trump’s bold decision today to reject the disastrous nuclear deal with Tehran, he also added Israel opposed the deal from the start because, rather than keeping Tehran away from the bomb, “it paves Iran’s path to an entire arsenal of nuclear bombs.

He praised Trump for the "courageous leadership" he had shown, and for pulling out of the deal.

Benjamin Netanyahu has defended his son after his recent tape recordings were leaked to Israeli TV. The leaked tape saw the first child of Benjamin, Yair Netanyahu begging money from Ori Maimon, the son of Kobi Maimon, Israel gas tycoon.

                             From left, Yair, Sara(m) and Benjamin Netanyahu

Yair Netanyahu was heard on tape bragging to Ori; "My father did a good deal for you, brother. You have to be good to me. We fought in the Knesset for it, brother. My father battled for it, I remember." He was trying to get 400 Shekels from Ori, something over a few $100.

Yair had made the statement at the same time his father was clouded in controversy of the deal, with critics calling the deal that sees to the dividing of future income between state and private companies is corrupt.

In a statement released by the Netanyahu family, Yair had nothing to do with gas deal, and the statement he makes to his friend on the deal was just a joke. The family released a statement saying;

Every parent that watched the report should think how they would react if every false expression of their kids was turned into a headline on Channel 2, and every time they left the house, it was turned into an investigation and every conversation was turned into a hidden recording.

The PM has no connection with Kobi Maimon, whom he met only once about 10 years ago. The PM brought about the gas protocols because he wanted to encourage competition to the Tamar gas field under the ownership of Kobi Maimon.

Yair also released a statement, and went on to attack Channel 2, the station that released the recordings;

This evening, I watched the embarrassing 'yellow' report that showed an illegal hidden recording from a conversation that took place two-and-a-half years ago,In a night-time conversation, under the influence of alcohol, I said nasty things about women and other things that should not have been said. These things don't represent the person I am, the values I was educated on and what I believe.

Former Israeli prime minister, Ehud Barak in a tweet on Monday mocked the Netanyahu family, he tweeted;

Compassion for the son? It's impossible to get him back on the tracks because he was never on track. A narcissist that grew up in the mud of stinking corruption, with kickbacks of billions and grey deals on account of [the people of Israel].

Yair is once again in the news after he posted a meme targeting his father political enemies. The image was anti-semitic, and draw criticism from from netizens, but also got Yair a thumbs up from the Ku klux klan leader, David Duke.

Yair Netayanhu, prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu son of Israel might not be helping the two corruption cases against his dad after a recent released tape heard him bragging about how Benjamin Netanyahu helped push a $20bn of a gas tycoon.

In the tape, Yair was with Ori Maimon, son of a wealthy oil magnate, Kobi Maimon.Mammon Snr. is a shareholder in Isramco, which also owns Tamar gas fields.

Yair and Ori were visiting different strip clubs in town, with government provided security guard and driver when both were arguing about $116(400 Shekels). In the conversation, Yair can be heard saying "Bro, you got to spot me. My dad made an awesome deal for your dad, bro, he fought, fought in the Knesset for this, bro" He then added "Bro, my dad now arranged for you a $20bn deal and you can’t spot me 400 shekels?”

Yair, a 26 Year Old is known as someone with a very crass behaviour, and his recent remarks about his father's dealings will only buttress the conversation of different accusations against the Netanyahu family family and their cosy relationship with wealthy businessmen.

Last year, Yair posted a picture of billionaire philanthropist George Soros with a reptilian creature and a hooded, hook-nosed Elder of Zion–type dangling inducements before three of the family’s enemies. He was praised by US neo-nazis, including far-right website- Daily Stormer.

The Netanyahu family attorney, Yossi Cohen, tried to stop the embarrassing audio tape, claiming it is only a witch hunt to undermine the presidency of Benjamin Netanyahu, he wrote;

Your witch-hunt has reached a new and unprecedented low with the broadcast of a secret tape of things that were said jokingly two and a half years ago, between young people drinking alcohol.

French President Emmanuel Macron has called out the U.S, Israel and Saudi Arabia government for its conspiracy to turn the world against Iran, and trying to lead the country to war while at it. The recent protests in Iran have caused more than 50 people death and several others injured after clashes with security forces and the protesters.

The US government leader, Donald Trump has supported the protest in Iran from day 1, writing via Twitter that "Big protests in Iran. The people are finally getting wise as to how their money and wealth is being stolen and squandered on terrorism. Looks like they will not take it any longer. The USA is watching very closely for human rights violations!"

Macron while speaking to Reuters said the "The official line pursued by the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia, who are our allies in many ways, is almost one that would lead us to war. He then added " It was a deliberate strategy for some"

Donald Trump before assuming office has been against the Obama path in negotiating peace with Iran. One of Obama's legacy with Iran was to make sure that Iran does not have any nuclear weapon, and with other countries created the Iran's nuclear deal, something Trump has decertified, and has also pointed fingers to the Tehran government that it support terrorism in the Middle-East, and would also increase sanctions on Iran. Trump also included Iran in his travel ban also.

Israel on the other end has seen Trump new foreign policy has a welcome development. Benjamin Netanyahu government has opposed to the Iran nuclear deal of President Obama. Iran as a country has supported the Palestianian (Hamas) and Lebanese groups that have been staunchly haters of the state of Israel. Even has forces supported by Iran has won the battle against rebels and JIhadist trying to take control of Syria, Israel has said it does not like Iran presence in the neighbouring country.

Israel has now called for assistance with another U.S ally, Saudi Arabia, despite Saudi Arabia not fully recognizing the Jewish states. Israel is trying to bank on the phrase, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, to help fight the Iranian government, even though both Saudi Arabia and Iran are both Muslim nations, their differences in ideology has allow a long term hate between the two nations.

The French President is now calling for dialogue between the countries, "Otherwise, we will end up surreptitiously rebuilding an 'axis of evil'." Macron also said that pressure could be applied to Iran, but dialogue should never be off the table.

"We are here to stay, forever," is the vow prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is making with Israelis at the celebration of the 50th anniversary that Israel occupied the West Bank. The prime minister said that he will not evacuate the people at the West Bank settlements.

Netanyahu said;

We are here to stay, forever. There will be no more uprooting of settlements in the land of Israel. It has been proven that it does not help peace.

We've uprooted settlements. What did we get? We received missiles. It will not happen anymore. And there's another reasons that we will look after this place, because it looks after us. In light of everything that is occurring around us, we can just imagine the result.

So we will not fold. We are guarding Samaria against those who want to uproot us. We will deepen our roots, build, strengthen and settle," he said, using the Jewish name for part of the West Bank.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has made a similar pledge during a press conference with Israeli reporters in January 2014, after a meeting with the then U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Davos, Switzerland.

The days of bulldozers uprooting Jews are behind us, not ahead of us.

The Israeli-Palestinian core issues is the settlements. While Israeli takes over different sections of the settlements, despite warning from the UN, Palestinians are hoping that the Trump administration will support the creation of a Palestinian state.

Most countries have alleged that the settlements going on in Israel are illegal, and would be an obstacle to peace in the region. Israel disagrees and instead cites historical,biblical to the land, also claimed by the Palestinians.

Donald Trump leaked a classified Intel about ISIS to the Russians when Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyakvisited visited the White House. According to New York times, Donald Trump told the Russians some classified information that was obtained by Israel after it hacked into a ISIS cell of bombmakers based in Syria.

According to a U.S official, the Intel that was gathered allowed the U.S to learn that ISIS was working on explosives that could fool airport security by passing as a laptop battery. The information prompted a ban of laptops from all Muslim countries coming to the United States and Britain.

The information was classified, and was shared by Israel to the United States, and was not supposed to be shared around, but Donald Trump leaked this information when the Russian diplomats came to the White House, which could then be leaked to Iran.

There has been close working relationship between the U.S and Israeli intelligence agencies, allowing for sharing of information, including the disclosure of sources and methods. The cooperation had yielded great result including the disruption of Iran nuclear program.

The American officials under former President Obama warned the Israeli intelligence to be careful of the information they shared with Donald Trump.

Benjamin Netanyahu seems overly excited with the latest administration in the US, he decided to jump on the Donald Trump Twitter bandwagon, and supported the controversial border wall.

The Israeli prime minister had no idea his tweet would be retweeted 52,000 times, and would cause an uproar home and abroad. The prime minister in recent times had faced corruption charges, but the latest tweet might have added to his low  approval rating.

Netanyahu tweeted;

A tweet he had sent in support of man of Donald Trump statement that Israel built a fence and it works, and the US-Mexico border wall will work too. Israel ha built a steel fence along its border with Egypt to stop illegal immigrants from conflict areas like Somali, Eritrea and Sudan.

The tweet from Netanyahu twitter account angered the Mexican government, which believes that the Israeli prime minister should have never have involved in such bilateral issue with his careless tweet.

Mexico foreign ministry said;

The foreign ministry expressed to the government of Israel, via its ambassador in Mexico, its profound astonishment, rejection and disappointment over Prime Minister Netanyahu's message.

Mexico is a friend of Israel and should be treated as such by its Prime Minister.

The US ambassador to Israel under the Obama administration, Dan B. Sharpiro took off the diplomatic gloves and also went to Twitter to question the motives of Netanyahu tweets. Dan tweeted;

Hard to explain this intervention on a hotly debated issue in domestic U.S. politics. Unless this endorsement is Trump's demand of Netanyahu for something Netanyahu want.

Another backlash was from the Opposition politician Yair Lapid, who is ahead of Netanyahu in recent opinion polls, was also scathing. Lapid tweeted in Hebrew;

A serious mistake by Netanyahu.

It is a needless declaration of war on Mexico and Hispanics and a rupture with the Democrats (including the majority of U.S. Jews). It doesn't matter what we think of the wall, don't we have enough troubles of our own?

In a statement by the Israel's foreign ministry;

We do not express a position on U.S.-Mexico relations.

President Donald Trump is ready to fulfil one of his promises to Israel as he plans to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a move that will spark outrage in the Arab world. The US embassy is in Tel Aviv, so as other country's embassies are also situated in the country's capital.

Jerusalem has been one of 2 countries, Palestine and Israel bone of contention for a long time as both countries lay claim to the city, citing both political, historical, and religious claims.

Trump has now invited the Israel prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington in February.

According to Netanyahu camp, the two leaders talked about the nuclear deal with Iran, peace process with the Palestinians among other issues.

The decision by the US president to break the status quo between Israel and Palestine will spark outrage with the Arab world, such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt, which Donald Trump relies on to fight ISIS, which is also a priority for the US president.

The US congress in 1995 passed a law that described Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but presidents, both Republicans and Democrats have used their foreign policy powers to maintain the US embassy in Tel Aviv, and support negotiations between Israel and Palestine.

Israel: A secret inquiry into the corruption charges of Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netayanhu will now be a full-blown investigation by the police. The police authorities received a new document on Monday for the investigation that had been done secretly for nine months.

The police have now turned to the Attorney for permission that will allow them to open the full investigation into the Prime minister alleged bribery and aggravated fraud.

The secret investigation started nine months ago after a green light by the Police Chief Roni Alsheich, and the investigation was carried on by a special police unit Lahav 433, who had also demanded full secrecy and no leak to the media.

Responding to the alleagations, the prime minister spokesperson said that;

it’s all nonsense, Since Netanyahu’s victory in the last elections and even before, hostile elements have used heroic efforts to attempt to bring about [Netanyahu’s] downfall, with false accusations against him and his family. This [latest attempt] is absolutely false. There was nothing and there will be nothing.

Earlier this month, there was a call for the prime minister to be investigated after his role in the defence ministry deal to purchase submarines from the a German company partly owned by the Iranian government.

The issue created a debate among the country as citizens debate the prime minister might be swayed in the decision by business ties his personal counsel David Shimron had with the submarines’ builder, ThyssenKrupp. The purchase was opposed by parts of the defence establishment, including former defence minister Moshe Ya’alon.
