Popular James Bond Character, Sir Roger Moore has died after a brief battle with cancer. The family of the actor confirmed the news via his social media accounts. He was reported to have died in Switzerland after a "short but brave battle with cancer".

                 

Sir Roger Moore played the series of James Bon franchise based on the book of Ian Flemming between 1973 and 1985. 

He was born in Stockwell, London on 14 October 1927, and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts [RADA], a classmate of the original Ms Penny, Lois Maxwell.

He was picked up for the show after the previous James Bond, Sean Connery announced in 1966 he would not longer be playing the James Bond Character.

He accepted the offer of producer Albert Brocolli, and had to cut his hair and lose weight for the his first Bond movie, Live and let die in 1973.

For lover of James Bond, 007, the witty lines, is love of gadgets and the girls than the mission seems to make him one of the Bond character of the franchise.

Sam Smith has released the video for his recent James Bond 24th new movie, "Spectre" theme music. The music titled "Writings On The Wall" was released as an honour to celebrate James Bond day. 

                       

The movie was shot entirely in Rome, and it shows Sam Smith in a room full of columns and a grandiose coliseum. Speaking about the new song, Sam Smith said;

I tried to put myself in the shoes of Bond,” Smith told NPR. “My music is a diary and it’s a recap of my life, and I wanted to bring that kind of honesty. Writing’s On the Wall,” co-written by Smith and Jimmy Napes, is the first James Bond theme song recorded by a British male solo artist in 50 years.

The Spectre is set to hit cinema on Nov 7.
