Chase eATM Customer Hacked Via Mobile App, Loses $3,000

A user of the Chase eATM has complained that he was hacked while he was trying to use the Chase mobile banking app. He discovered he had been locked out of his account, and could not log in.

He then decides to visit a Chase bank location the next day, only to be told someone had changed his address and password on the app, and that he was hacked while he was trying to use the eATM machine. The hacked caused the customer $3,000.

                  

The user and Chase bank were able to resolve the issue, and he was able to re-claim his $3,000 again. Chase also confirmed to be getting a lot of hacking complaint from the user of the eATM app.
