Hillary Clinton Claims Democratic Party Nomination, Will Face Donald Trump In US Election 2016

Former first lady and US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton has secured the right delegates to clinch to the Democratic party nominee for 2016. Hillary beats strong rival, Bernie Sanders in New Jersey's nominating contest.

                     

She wrote a fundraising email to supporters saying;

    Together, we secured the Democratic nomination. For the first time ever, a woman will be a major party's nominee to become President of the United States.

Hillary will now face the Republican party nominee, Donald Trump in a general election in November 8th to decide on who will be the United States President. 

Hillary is the first woman nominee in US history, and if she wins the election will be the first woman president.
