The ticket for the fight between Mayweather-Pacquiao may go for £1,000 ($1,500), rising to around £6,700 ($10,000), with some expected to cost £60,000 ($100,000) on the resale market. The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where the fight will take place has a capacity of 16,500, but only 1000 seats will be sold out to the public.
A lot of fans had been tweeting back and forth to the team managers about when the ticket for the fight go on sale, but according to reports the tickets have been issues as the two sides were arguing over who got what tickets and where they were located.
Mayweather's promoter, Leonard Ellerbe, said tickets would probably go on sale on Thursday.
I'm doing my very, very best to get them on sale tomorrow," he said on Wednesday. "I don't have a time yet.
