Pastor Joshua Feuerstein, a former television and radio evangelist has asked his followers and supports to fight the recent same-sex marriage legalized by the United States supreme court. The pastor makes his intention known via a rant on his Facebook post.
The former pastor said that the current government is only trying to frustrate Christians and have been going coming after their first amendment right. Joshua said if they keep coming for your first amendment right, then make use of the second amendment right, then pulls out what looks like a sophisticated weapon.
“They’re coming after our First Amendment constitutional rights! Well, check this out, this is one pastor that will not bow. Why? Because my First Amendment right (holds up gun) is guaranteed by my Second Amendment right. Think about that, ladies and gentlemen. It’s time that we finally take a stand and say no more. We’re not backing up any further. We’re not going to allow a tyrannical government to come in and strip away our rights as Christians and try to demonize us so that they can make the Bible bigoted.”
And the fight to allow gays in the country was not because of equal rights, as they already have that through the civil union, but rather was a direct attack on Christianity.
“I remember telling you guys a long time ago that this was not about gay marriage and equality!” he ranted. “It’s about reconstitutionalizing a term so that now it opens up the door for the liberals to come after Christianity!”
