The money was returned to the state treasury after the after the Economic and financial crime commission[EFCC] caught him red handed converting the state shares to personal use.

Political Game In Oyo State
The Accord party released a defamatory video yesterday online in which the performance and ability of the incumbent governor were called into question. Some of the contents of the video show how pensioners in Oyo state have been deprived of their pensions and had to pray to get it.
Also it shows how the governor destroyed some road side shops of people in Ibadan, calling the act callous from the governor to the poor people of Oyo state.
The video was released under the Accord party camp.
The fraud evidence that emerged online today might be a way to let people know that the former senator and governor is not who he claims to be.

In the video he said :
There is a girl who donated all her savings because she believes in our campaign, the young men and women at our campaign rallies who ran at our motorcade screaming change. All Nigerians are tired with the status quo without exception
He also said that his government will be more accountable than the present government and that better ducation for students, also making sure they get home safely.
On Religion, he said :
There is no Muslim Nigeria or Christian Nigeria, No northern Nigeria or Southern Nigeria. There is only one Nigeria, a country where citizens continue to forge ahead despite challenges. A country we all boast about, both home and abroad.
I have always been part of one Nigeria, both as a military of civilian. In the course of the service, i have overseen the building of the refinery, and protect Nigerians from aggressive forces, both internal and external.
My time as head of state was not perfect, mistakes were made , some of you may not support me because of those mistakes, but i assure you, i hear the pains of everyone who experienced and do hardship, people like Lola, Adeyemi Adefulu, Tunde Thompson, who have been gracious enough to look beyond these mistakes and accept my offer of partnership of New Nigeria we can be proud of.
My appeal to you, finds it in your heart to do the same. As i said in Chatham house, being the leader at that time, i take responsibilities for those mistakes and which again standing before you as a converted democrat who has submitted and will continue to submit himself to a true democratic process.
Asking for partnership from the Nigerian populace, he said :
I talked about partnership, because it amounts to a great issue Nigeria will help to contend with, Leaders will require your commitment and cooperation. Our country is all time low, poverty and unemployment has reached unprecedented heights. Insecurity threatens the lives of and well-being of every single person within our borders.A situation that i myself have experienced directly.
I believe this country can be great again,I believe that with effective and transparent leadership, the eradication of corruption and the respect for the rule of law, things can change for the better.
I have served Nigeria with everything i have, without taking anything that i do not earn. If anybody has evidence that proved otherwise,i challenge them to present it.
About my person, Buhari said :
I will lead this country from the front. Your children will go to school and return safely. You will no longer be afraid in your own homes. The Naira in your pocket will be of greater value than it is now. Our economy will no longer rely on oil alone to survive. The corruption which has eaten deep in the primary gulf of our society will be a thing of the past.
Economic opportunity will be shared in an equitable manner across the country and will not be only for those close to the government. The youths will be gainfully employed, women like Taraba gubernatorial candidate, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan will continue to break new ground.
Appreciating the supporters, he said :
I will like to thank everyone who has been on this journey with us and thank to Nigerians who received us with open arms everywhere we campaigned. On the 28th of March and the 11th of April, use your PVC to get the desired change that will enable you and your children to be proud of this country once again.
Nigeria: I remember one of the PDP primaries, Segun had said he will be destroying the polling booth because a man had paid his crew 50,000 Naira (250 USD). He is to destroy the booth if the man seems to be losing the senatorial seat. I warned him to stay out of violence because he is worth more than 50,000, but said, he had the guns and knives and would do it to impress the man. He would get more money if they fought the battle, destroy the polling booth and the man wins.
On Saturday morning, he had been parading the polling booth, to know the affair of things, the Lagos rapid response squad had warned him and his crew to vote and go home, but they said they were monitoring the election, around 4:30pm, Segun's sense danger as his client was loosing, immediately, his thugs member was mobilized to bring down the roof. Pow pow pow, that was gun shots as electorates scamper for safety, the ballot boxes was taken away by one of Segun's crew, the policemen started shooting to get it back, Segun ran for safety, as he was about to run inside a house like others, the policemen shot him in the skull, Pow, that was it, Segun died.
You have your life, go home
I can't stop imagining the scene, i wish his mum had a dream of his death and drug him to sleep and wake up 2 days after, i wish he had malaria that day that will keep him home, i wish he broke his leg while he was playing soccer a day to the election. Segun is no more, the news filtered through my phone as Bola called to let me know Segun is dead and we will not be seeing him again, this was 8 years ago, but it won't stop coming to me. I can still see this man with muscles big chest and heavy blow, heaven forsakes you if you get a direct punch from Segun, now he is no more and another election will take place on March 28th.
You are thinking to go and fight, you want to prove you rule this town, just like Segun, you will end up as another election statistics.

Abuja, Nigeria: The National publicity secretary of APC, Chief Lai Mohammed has revealed a plan of the PDP Presidential candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan. Chief Lai said that the president is planning to disqualify their candidate, which will cause pandemonium nationwide. This will lead to either another easy win for president Goodluck Jonathan or another election postponement.
If it is true, as it is being widely speculated across the country, that the Jonathan Administration has procured a judgement to disqualify the APC Presidential Candidate on Wednesday, when the Federal High Court in Abuja is expected to rule on the issue, then itportends a great danger for our country .
Anyone who will disqualify a presidential candidate on the eve of an election can only have one and only one purpose for that: to trigger chaos and pandemonium across the country. Perhaps this is the reason for the deployment of troops across the country to crack down on possible protests and create confusion
Then, those who orchestrated the disqualification will simply use what they expect to be angry reactions nationwide as an excuse to postpone the elections again, thus triggering a constitutional crisis, the end of which no one can predict.
This is why we are hoping that good reason will prevail and nothing will be done, deliberately, to plunge Nigeria into crisis by the same people who have always been quick to say their political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian,'' APC said.
President Ebele Goodluck Jonathan met with the BBC this week to discuss about the upcoming election and Boko Haram in Nigeria. President Goodluck said the Jihadists are getting weaker as the Nigerian Army moves in on them. Some of the men had escaped through neighbouring towns while some had their way back into the country as ordinary civilians.
The BBC correspondent said the Military confirmed that they don't know where the Chibok girls are hiding, and President Goodluck said that if the military said that, it is possibly true. He continues that the military suspects that the large number of girls are in Sambisa forest. But he is not sure where others girls are staying at the moment.
See everyday we look at the news and the Chibok girls are not announced dead, so I have a feeling they are still alive, President Jonathan said.
Answering why the campaign against Boko Haram is so tough at this time of near election, he said that the government underated the terrorist cell and that since the Nigeria civil war, the country had not battled any civil war within its territory, and as such the country was not prepared. We did not have enough arms to equip the army and the air force, but now, they are well equipped and the war on Boko Haram is tough.
I accept the wrongs in the nation and will also take the glory to the right.
Changing his countenance at the interviewer, he said that the media never appreciates what his government is doing.
On his election victory, President Goodluck Jonathan said, "I will surely win the election". I have a strong support based system from the people, so i will win.
What happens if he looses, I will accept defeat and other candidates should do same, but am sure that i will win the election.
