American ISIS hostage

American hostage, Kayla Muller, before her death earlier this year have been reported to be repeatedly raped by ISIS leader, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi. US officials says on Friday.

Her parents,  Carl and Marsha Mueller, were told by the US government that their daughter was repeatedly raped by the Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, and was also tortured during his days of captivity in the Islamic state. Mueller was captured when she was 26, and would have turned 27 on Friday.

We were told Kayla was tortured, that she was the property of al-Baghdadi. We were told that in June by the government," Kayla's parents, Carl and Marsha Mueller, told ABC News today.

The Islamic state reported on Friday that Kayla was killed when a Jordanian fighter jet bombed a building she was being held captive outside Raqqa,a stronghold in Syria of the Islamist militant group.

Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, an Iraqi who calls himself "caliph" is the ruler of the ISIS terrorist group and had personally brought Kayla to be imprisoned inside the home of Abu Sayaff,a Tunisian in charge of oil and gas revenue for the group.

After that, he had made regular visits to the same compound to meet with Abu Sayaff and also to sexually assault Kayla Mueller.

In an attempt to save Kayla, the U.S. Army's elite hostage-rescue and counter-terrorism unit known as Delta Force conducted a ground raid to kill Sayaff, but was forced to kill him when he raised a weapon.

She had used a year and a half, before now, a lot of speculations were that she had co-operated to be a jihadist bride, something the FBI told her parents that is a rumour among officials, this upsets her parents about such rumour.

The speculation was based on a smuggled letter released by her family in which Kayla wrote that she was completely fine, and also said she was "completely unharmed + healthy (put on weight in fact); I have been treated w/ the utmost respect + kindness".

Kayla was seized in August 2013, while leaving a hospital in Aleppo in Northern Syria. She had gone to Syria in December 2012 to work for a Turkish organization providing humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees along the Syrian border.

The information about  Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi came from different sources, including the US interviews with at least 2 Yezidi girls held as sex slaves in Sayaff's compound and also the interrogation of Sayaff's wife, who was captured during the raid in which her husband was killed.
