Diddy had been watching his son's workout session, Justin Combs, from the sideline and was not happy with the strength and conditioning coach Alosi, who was said to be "riding Justin, and screaming intensely at him" and also told him not to come back till the end of summer.

Diddy went to with Alosi because he believed him to be having problems with his son, Justin. But when he got to the campus, the coach would not see him, and the staff asked him to leave, but Diddy is not having none of that, he went to Alosi's office, but he was told to leave or else he will call security. Diddy said fine,I'll call the police, that was when Alosi snapped and collected the phone from Diddy. That was when Diddy grabbed a kettle ball and he told police he held it in a defensive position, and he claims he acted in self defence and was not attacking Alosi.

Diddy was arrested and thrown in the L.A County jail. He was later released after posting a bail of $50,000. He was charged with one count of making terrorist threats, three counts of assaults with a deadly weapon and one count of battery.
