Dr Dre has dropped one of the most anticipated album of 2015, "Compton; A Soundtrack". Dr Dre is dropping the album after his fans have waited sixteen years since he dropped the last album, The Chronic in 2001.

            

The legendary rapper released his final album, featuring the likes of Eminem, Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Jill Scott, Marsha Ambrosius, and more.

          

Dr Dre while speaking on the inspiration behind the album said:

I was leaving the set, coming to the studio, and I felt myself just so inspired by the movie that I started recording an album,” said Dre during his “Pharmacy” radio show on Beats 1. “I started recording a soundtrack. I kept it under wraps, and now the album is finished.

Dre will donate all royalties from the album to help and fund a new performing arts and entertainment facility for kids in his hometown.

Dr Dre is working on the set of a movie,Straight Outta Compton, which will be available in theatres Aug. 14.

Ever since the announcement of Apple buying Dr Dre's company, a lot of speculation ,  if the deal will not be possible as it took longer than expected. But at the time of this report, Apple has finally added "The Beat", a company founded by hip-hop legend Dr Dre and his friend Jimmy Lovine to it's company for $3Billion.

             

According to the report, the recent purchase is the biggest acquisition of Apple.  The $3Billion purchase will include the beat music and the sister company, that runs a music streaming as well.

Apple made $151billion last year, while beat made $2Billion.
