Malaysia and Vietnam riot

The Asia AFF Suzuki cup that took place in the Shah Alam staium, Malaysia took a bad turn as the Malaysian fans think the best way to accept defeat is by injuring the  football away fans. The angry Malaysia fans took to the stand of the Vietnamese by fighting them and causing a great riot, even before the police could respond.

The reason for the riot at the stadium after the match could not be identified and the police are yet to release a press release.

The match that was played in the host country, Malaysia is the first leg of the semi-final and the Malaysian team will be heading to Vietnam for the second leg on the Thursday, 11th, 2014 for the second leg before the winning team head to the final.

Some Vietnamese fans have said they are disappointed in Malaysian fans for not acting as they preach as they believed Malaysia is a country of peace and so are the Malaysia citizens. A lot of Malaysians in Vietnam have used their social media handle to apologise to the Vietnamese football fans and should not hold a grudge against the Malaysians living in Vietnam. 

Football is a great sport in Vietnam and both young and old knows what time it is when the game is on. The two goals from the Vietnamese are from Vo Huy Toan and Nguyen Van Quyet. Both scored in the 32 and 60 minutes in the match, while the Malaysian goal was scored by Mohd Shafiq Bin Rahim in a penalty in the 14th minutes.
