US government

A lot of Nigerians on social media are asking the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to never use the new laptops that were recently presented to EFCC by the US governement in a courtesy visit to the anti-graft agency office.

The US government gave out six new laptops at his headquarters in Abuja, and the six man team was led by the Director, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, USA, Roselyn Wiase.

Roselyn said that;

We are not unmindful of your contribution to the fight against economic and financial crimes in Nigeria. The United States Government therefore donates this Laptops to your organization to support your Mission

The laptop was received by the EFCC executive chairman, Ibrahim Mustafa Magu.

Though the US would be able to spy on the Nigerian government and its activities anyway, as it has always done according to Edward Snowden, but Nigerians believe this is a case of going inside and doing the job right.
