A bomb went off in a bar that is yet to be opened in a suburb in Lagos, Nigeria. According to a Nigerian national emergency official who spoke with Saharareporters said that the explosion killed 5 people and a baby at the L and K road, Mayaki-Oworonshoki area of Lagos.
People injured in the blast have been taken to a nearby hospital for immediate attention.
The anti-bomb squad has responded to the bomb explosion and will determine cause of the bomb and further information will be released to the public.
