50 Vietnamese nationals are currently held up in Nepal after an earthquake that has killed more than 2000, injuring others. And the Vietnamese embassy is currently working to bring them back to Vietnam with the help of the Indian government.
According to the Vietnam ambassador to India, Ton Sinh Thanh, he said :
About 50 Vietnamese tourists are currently stranded in Nepal. We are now trying to bring them back to Vietnam.We have also asked help from the Indian government to allow them (Vietnamese nationals) to get on board Indian rescue aircraft to come to India and then they can go back to Vietnam.
The ambassador also said Vietnam will not be joining the rescue operations in Nepal, as India is playing a good role in Nepal at the moment.
