APC won't Present Governor Fashola as Vice-President Because He Is A Muslim

Lagos- As the election in Nigeria draws near, Nigerians are wondering who is going to be the next president. One of the best governor in Nigeria politics and the current governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola whom a lot of Nigerians, most especially Lagosians wish to become the next Vice-president might not be the chosen candidate by the APC (All progressive Congress).

The Nigeria politics since 1999 had always been a Muslim-christian ticket or verse versa for governors and for president elects. Also it varies between parties too, where the President is from the north a muslim and the vice-president is from the South-west and the speaker of the Federal house of assembly is from the East.

But this is 2014/2015, will the Nigeria youths or Nigerians in general allows this unreasonable "zoning" to continue? Will they keep allowing anybody to rule the country based on their beliefs or their region?

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola is a well known governor due to the change he brought to Lagos. A lot of youths have said,  he raised the level of governance for any incoming governor of the state. He is currently on his second term in office and will be leaving his position soon.

Till Nigerians say "NO" to such practice by political parties, it will be another decade to get a credible candidate to rule the nation.
