The AY show live hosted by popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun went South after a Nigerian comedienne, Helen Paul and Comedian Gordon have it rough and what seems to be a comedy between the pair soon turned into both parties dissing each other.
The AY live show, "Complete Happiness" in Warri got Helen Paul taking jabs at the male counterparts in the industry. She said that a lot of people are asking why she was not married or married to any of the other comedians. She then said that she can't marry Ay (Ayo Makun) because the man is too ugly and only looks good because he got the money.
Enjoying the applause she was getting, she continues and said that she won't marry someone like Gordons as the man looks like "Babalawo" (A herbalist), and also said "I Go Dye" seems to be the only one with good fashion sense, as the young man will dress nice anytime of the day, and even will wear a dinner tie in afternoon shows, throwing sarcastic comment at "I Go Dye". Helen Paul further says that Basketmouth lost his fashion sense after he got married and he is losing reception from female fans too.
Helen Paul also said Ali Baba, one of the oldest comedians in Nigeria is out of comedy materials, and the only people laughing at his comedy are old people in the old range of former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Not happy with all the comments Helen Paul made on stage about other comedians, Gordons mounts the podium furiously and said the only reason that Helen Paul is yet to get married is because of her boyish physique, and said that she has got hair all over her chest, and nobody really wants to marry a lady like that. At a point on the stage, Gordon refers to Helen Paul as a "He" because he got confused sometimes when he viewed her from back or afar, and tagged Helen Paul an upcoming comedienne, and nobody will reply her for her careless talk.
Helen Paul, who was at backstage at this time could not stomach all the words thrown at her furiously steps out from backstage yelling at Gordon. She said that Gordon is just an angry man that even though all his years in the industry finds it hard to get an endorsement. And, his destiny would probably get him an endorsement when he is 54, comparing him to the "I don port" crooner, Saka.
Ayo Makun the host sees that the show is finally going to turn to a fist fight between both parties, grabbed Helen Paul and dropped her off at backstage, while Gordon continues throwing jabs at Helen Paul, and when Ay comes back to grab Gordon, he won't leave the stage and instead runs around the stage, a move that angers Ay and he banned Gordon from further Ay live show performances.
