Baltimore City jail officers, Tamika Cobb and Kendra Richard Suspended For Looting Corn Chips And Beef Jerky During Freddie Gray Protest

Two Baltimore city correctional officers, Tamika Cobb and Kendra Richard have been suspended without pay after they were caught red-handed after a footage showed the two officers looting a 7-11 store during the last month's riot after policemen were said to have allegedly injured Freddie Gray, killing the unarmed young man.

The two ladies were identified after the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS)  received a tip-off the duo leaving the closed 7-11 store with a Tostitos (corn chips) and Slim Jims (beef jerky).

 DPSCS Secretary Stephen T. Moyer said :

 Our Intelligence and Investigative Division did an outstanding job, immediately following-up on this tip. We will not allow the vast majority of our employees who are honest and hardworking to be tainted by the actions of a few.
