#Brasil2014 : Defending Champion, Spain bows out of world cup after loosing to Chile

The much anticipated and defending Champion, Spain is out of the world cup tournament, Brasil2014. It was a surprising defeat when the Spanish team played the Netherlands in their first group B opening match and lost 5-1. While football fans and lovers of Spanish good football would expect a good game, the Spanish team lose their match against Chile few hours again,making them the first team to bow out of the tournament.

   

The game against Chile was interesting and going well for the Spanish until the 19th mins when Eduardo Vargas scored . Just before the closing of the first half, Charles Aranguiz scored another goal to seal a win of 2-0.  The last match is between Spain and Australia. The Australian team is also out of the tournament after losing 2-1 to Chile and 3-2 to the Netherlands.

Netherlands and Chile are the team progressing to the round of 16 in the group B table of Brasil 2014. The last match of the Spanish team is meaningless as both teams are out of the tournament.

What happened to the Spanish team?

Different Facebook fans and twitter fans have said the Spanish game tactics used in winning major tournament is the same tactics they use in this tournament. The game has changed, say John Oliver, The Barcelona style of playing is not going to work after the Netherland's game, they should have adopted a better tactics to win Chile.

A football blogger, while writing on Facebook said the Netherlands exposed the Spanish team game by letting others know that you should never allow them juggle the ball around and that is what the Chile team did to win the match.
