This list is part of the 93 ambassadors that were posted to their different country embassies in June 2012, after their nominations were received and endorsed by the senate nearly 2 months their name were submitted to by the former president, Goodluck Jonathan.

88 nominees were presented, 87 appeared before the committee, 84 passed, while 2 of the nominees, Mrs. Sifawu Momoh, Edo; and Mazi Okafor Ojih, Ebonyi, could not pass the senate recommendation at an instant. The Mazi Okafor Ojih case was later revisted, and was posted to Vietnam.

The affected ambassadors should report back to the ministry of foreign affairs on Monday.

The former Nigerian government has turned the diplomatic job to political appointment and to favour anybody who is a ranking officer of the party, thus affecting not just the relationship ties were the appointees were placed, but also affecting Nigerians live in such country, since the ambassadors don't fully know left from right.

Nigerians in Russia and Vietnam have faced difficulties in passport renewal and other minor things in the past couple of years, costing a lot of them jobs and some of them had to travel back home since the embassies could not get a particular person for the job, and most times when the passport comes, it came with an error. This is according to emails and reports we had received in the past.

The embassies abroad during the past government received a lot of backlash from Nigerians staying abroad, as Nigeria embassies seem to have a lot of ambassadors who only sit in their office.
