Cambodia Deports Five Vietnamese Prostitutes For Living In Cambodia Illegally

Cambodian authorities have deported five Vietnamese girls who sell coffee and offer sexual services for their customers in Oyadav district, and were sent over the Oyadav border on February 26.

The provincial police department told local media that the girls have been living as prostitutes and coffee sellers at the district without a work permit, but the owner of the coffee shop, Quyen Mai, has got a work permit approved by the department on 25th of Feb., 2016.

Mai is not the only place where girls doubled as hookers and coffee sellers, as community members have said around 4-5 other cafes are doing the same business, but are yet to be raided. The residents are calling for immediate actions on those spots as they complained it is having negative effects on the Khmer culture.
