China Wall : China Block Users From Gmail

Beijing, China : This might not be a good time for Google email users have the mail service was recently blocked by China gret firewa. Chinese government once again takes it's stand on censoring it's citizens after blocking all access to IMAP/POP/SMAP.

These services are not accessible directly via web browsers or mobile devices. Users trying to use the services via other third party software like Microsoft Outlook, Opera mail or Apple mail also cannot access the service.

Also it is learnt that users outside of China sending mails from Gmail to any Chinese mail server like QQ, 163 will receive a mailer daemon of undelivered message.

The "Wall of China" as the firewall is often called had blocked a lot of websites in the past, Some of the blocked websites include : Twitter, Facebook Google+, wordpress.com, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, Google, Some Wikipedia pages, Dropbox, Google Blogspot, Most adult websites (+18) are blocked.

I am guessing China do have alternatives for all this blocked websites. The only way to get pass this firewall is through a VPN(Remember OpenVpn is also blocked) or SSH.
