Chinese Government Bans Gay TV Series On Television

The Chinese government firewall recently have caught up with gay people on TV recently after a new law was passed banning gay tv series on TV. A recent memo has been sent to TV station recently stating that all shows, drama relating to gay activities on TV should be pulled. The new law reads;

 No television drama shall show abnormal sexual relationships and behaviors, such as incest, same-sex relationships, sexual perversion, sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual violence, and so on.

                             

The new law was passed recently after a TV series, Addicted Heroin,  that has been controversial for its portray of gay marriage was pulled from video streaming site this week. The show is now showed showed on YouTube, which of course is also banned in China.

The new law is the morality campaign by the Chinese government in cracking down "vulgar, immoral and unhealthy content."
