The incumbent governor of Imo State has been announced winner of the Saturday supplementary election that concludes the April 11 governorship election in the state. Mr Okorocha, the All progressive congress (APC) candidate won the election with 416,996 votes, while his opponent, Mr. Ihedioha had 320,705 votes.
The returning officer declared Mr Rochas winner in Owerri, the state capital. The total number of valid votes in the state is 782,528.
