Man Arrested After Climbing White House Fence With Suspicious Package

USA: A man carrying a suspicious package was arrested around 10:25pm yesterday after jumping the fence into the White House building. 

According to Brian Leary, secret service spokesperson, the man was immediately taken into custody. The man had jumped into the south side of the building, the south side area of the white house faces the national mall.

    

The secret service had looked into the package of the man, but found out his package was harmless, though immediate information of the man is not available at the time of writing.

The secret service has come under scrutiny for different security lapses and embarrassing incident in the past few months. Last September, a man had jumped the fence with a knife and was able to get into the presidential resident before he was caught, similar incident on March 4, 2 agents drove a government issue car near a bomb investigation after having some drinks at another staff send-off party.
