Hanoi, Vietnam: Fifty one passenger of Vietjet air flight 175 missed their 4:30pm flight going to Saigon from Hanoi when a man on the same flight opens the emergency exit door in search of a restroom.
A Vietnamese man, Chuong, 43 from Duong Lam, outskirts of Hanoi, who was in need of the restroom on the Vietjet flight took everyone by shock when he suddenly opened the emergency exit door, activating the emergency exit door of the plane.

The plane that had been scheduled for 4:30pm was delayed for another 3 hours. The plane emergency slide had to be repacked causing a delay and rescheduling of other flights of the day.
At the end of the day, fifty one passengers had to miss their flight and board the next scheduled flight. An A321 jet can only carry 220 passengers, but when one of the evacuation slide is is gone, it can only carry 151 passengers.
The passengers were unhappy with what happened, but Vietjet air compensated the waiting passenger with $13.98(300,000 Vietnamese Dong) while it had to refund the flight ticket for those that could not wait for the later scheduled flights.

Chuong said he never knew that was the emergency exit, and he had mistaken the door for the restroom.
The airport authority is considering a fine for Chuong.The fine for such offences ranges from $466 to $932 dollar ($10million Vietnamese Dong to 20million Vietnamese Dong).
