Man Killed Girlfriend, And Later Killed A Professor He Suspected Is Having An Affair With Her

A Delta state university professor, Ethan Schmidt  was shot and killed on Monday morning around 10:30am by another professor, Shannon Lamb, 45. Shannon had killed his girlfriend,Amy Prentiss,41 in Gautier, Mississippi before driving 300 miles to kill a colleague, an history professor with a shot to the head. Investigators believe that the killing might be because Lamb suspected Ethan, a fter of three and Amy are cheating on him.

Delta state university went into a lockdown after the shooting, and classes were cancelled for the rest of sept. 14th and 15th.

Shannon Lamb later killed himself during a chase by the police.
