Muhammad Ali On Life Support, And Doctors Said He Might Not Make It

Boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, 74, is currently on life support and families have all travelled all from different states last night to support him as the doctors said that the chances of survival for Ali are "uncertain".

                      

Four of Ali's nine children, including Hana, Leila and Maryum have all arrived at the bedside to show their support as doctors continue to treat his breathing problem. The hospital were suggesting of transporting him to another section at the hospital, but sources said the doctors advised "potentially could be deadly,” and the transfer was called off".

According to sources close to the family, Ali respiratory problem has been made complicated because of the Parkinson disease he was diagnosed with in the 1980s. The source said;

Like in the ring, Ali is a fighter on the ward,” said a source. “Doctors are working to regulate his breathing put it is being hampered by his Parkinson’s. His children are all extremely concerned and dropped everything to be with him. They fear the worse.

Ali is everything to them and there are worried his problems are worse than first feared.

Bob Gunnell, the spokesperson for the ex-champion in a statement said Ali is condition is "fair"

Ali, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, is being treated by his team of doctors and is in fair condition," said Bob Gunnell in a written statement. A brief hospital stay is expected. At this time, the Muhammad Ali family respectfully requests privacy.
