Plane Carrying Brazilian Football Team Crashed

A plane carrying 72 people, including a Brazilian football team has crashed when approaching the city of Medellin in Colombia. At the time of this reports, the details are unclear, but there seem to be survivors.

         

The plane flying from Bolivia was carrying the member of the Chapocoense football team, due to play in the final of the South American club cup with Medellin team Atletico Nacional.

The plane was reported to have crashed in a mountainous area outside the city shortly before midnight local time (05:00 GMT).

The final game have now been suspended.
