Serial Killed Who Chained Women Like Dogs, And Killed Seven Others Arrested In South Carolina

Police in South Carolina have arrested a 45-year old South Carolina man, Todd Kohlhepp, after they found a woman chained like a dog on his property. The arrest also helps the police to solve a 13-year old murder case.

The man has also said to have killed seven other people.

               

 

He admitted to had killed four people at a motorcycle shop in Spartanburg County in 2003. And led police to the graves of two other people on his property.

The body of the boyfriend of the woman chained on Todd property, identified as 32-year-old Charles Carver, was also found. 

According to the woman, Todd shot his boyfriend right in front of her, and the coroner has confirmed the statement to be true, after sighting multiple gunshot on his body.

The couple went missing on August 31st, when the women to do cleaning at Todd's house, while her boyfriend accompanied her. The authorities were able to locate the couple after the signal of their last known location was traced to Todd's house.

Police are skeptical that the seven body might just be the beginning of the death he had committed.

Criminal History

Todd was first convicted when he was 15 years old, after he raped the daughter of their neighbour. He had held the girl at gunpoint, and asked her to go inside his house and tied her up, he then threatened to kill her six-year-old and three-year-old siblings she was babysitting if she called the police.

A neighbour then branded him as “devil on a chain.” Todd probation officer in 1987 wrote that he was angry, smart, and felt like the world owe him something.

“It is this type of individual, one with little or no conscience, who presents the greatest risk to the community,” 

Though a registered sex offender, he managed to get his private pilot license, and also register a real estate business with over a dozen agents.
