Tunisia Will Shut Down 80 Mosques Promoting Violence Following Attack In Resort That Killed 42 People

Tunisia's prime minister,  Habib Essid has said that the government started a clampdown on security after the death of 42 people at the resort in Tunisia yesterday. The PM also assured that army reservists will be mounted at archaeological sites and resorts to ensure no more re-occurrence of such tragic happening.

               

Speaking at a news conference, Mr Essid said some mosques that are out of government controls are the ones spreading violence among its followers, they use propagandas and venom to promote the Islam religion and therefore will be shut down. 

About 80 mosques involved in this type of propaganda will be shut down within a week. The prime minister vowed to act against parties or group acting out the constitution, such actions could range from warning to closure.
