Two Foreigners Arrested In Cambodia For Robbing Another Foreigner

Police in Cambodia have arrested two foreigners, James Guido Egnlitis, 68, from Australia and Brett Hastie,44, from New Zealand for breaking and entering and also abusing a British National,  David Scotcher,66, and in the process took away his passport and camera on the 29th of September.

                   

David  lives at staying at Steng Thmey village, Svay Dangkoum commune, Siem Reap City, Siem Reap Province, and also teaching English at the province. He reported the case to the police, and after the police had received the complaints, they started an investigation of the assault charges by David, and later identified the two men to be James and Brett.

According to the Cambodia National police website, the two men have been detained at the immigration department and will soon be sent to Siem Reap court for legal proceedings.
