Two Nigerians, Onye Caefuna, 30, Pascal Awaski, 39, and Pascal's Cambodian girlfriend, Chhaen Davy, 35 were all arrested for allegedly cheating a man out of $20,000 to purchase a chemical that will allow them print fake US currency last year.
According to San Sothy, a penal police officer with the Ministry of Interior’s Penal Department, the victim had met the 3 culprits via Facebook and they all agreed to do the money laundering business which involved the fake currency printing.
The victim was shown the machine that will be used for the printing, and was told to send $20,000 that will allow the purchase of the chemicals needed for the printing.
He sent the money, but was later unable to contact the two men after he had transferred the money. He later reported the case to the Ministry of Interior.
