War In APC: Bukola Saraki Removes APC Membership From His Twitter Bio

The Nigerian senate president, Olubukola Saraki has once again sent a strong message to APC leaders and other politicians when he edited the bio on his Twitter account, removing his party abbreviation "APC". A move that surprised his Twitter followers and also brought about different questions about his party, APC

The leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Saraki have been in a rift after he skipped party protocol, disregards all meetings, even with the president, and met with the opposition party members to help him achieve his aim of becoming the senate president. An act that has caused his friendship with NIgerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, and also grudges with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Bukola Saraki wife, Toyin Saraki  have been arraigned before the EFCC for money laundering since he emerged president, and himself is also facing different corruption charges too.

Bukola Saraki was supposed to appear before a "code of conduct" tribunal last Friday for some of the corruption allegations leveled against him, but he failed to show up at the tribunal.

Bukola Saraki removed APC from his Twitter bio, a move that caused a lot of people asking questions about APC stability

Probably noticing some elements in his party are behind his recent woes and using anti-corruption agencies against him and his family, he  decided going toe-to-toe with them, and this might lead to a major shakedown of a party that looks to be united during their political campaign, a party that got back power from opposition, PDP after 16 years of ruling Nigeria.

After a lot of speculation by his followers, Bukola Saraki then dropped another tweet to clarify himself and assured his followers that he is still a member of the APC, with some of his followers also comparing his bio to that of the Nigerian president, President Muhammadu Buhari and vice-president, Professor Osinbajo both of which don't have the APC tags to their profile.
