Lagos, Nigeria : The Policemen in Lagos had recently arrested four armed robbers for looting shops in the popular Alaba market and carting away with good worth 1.5million Naira ($8,105). The robbers are Afolabi Shakiru,Ezelonwu Michael, Azuka Eboh and Onyenge Osanie.

The four armed men were arrested on December 20 by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad(SARS). The 4 men gangs are part of an organised crime syndicate known for terrorising the market owners at shop and asking them for protection money. During the day, the gang is known for stealing mobile phones, tablets and also computers.
The criminals said they stole these expensive gadgets and give it to the shops who will sell and then give them their fair share of the loot, but recently a lot of these shops defaulted. And to revenge these shops, they have decided to steal and vandalised their properties.They claimed if the shop owners had paid them their fair share of the loot, they won't have come to rob them, so they have come for their due and not criminals at that time they were apprehended.
Mid-way to this operation, they were apprehended and currently in custody of SARS.
