White Supremacist, Daniel Borden, 18, Arrested For Assault In Charlottesville

Police have arrested Daniel Borden, 18, a former Mason High School student for allegedly beating an African-American man,20-year-old Deandre Harris on Aug. 12 in parking rage during a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

                

Daniel was arrested last Friday after police on August 15 considered him a person of interest in the attack, and he is currently held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

The arrest of Borden came after different activist shared white supremacists that had participated in the rally and also involved in different assaults in Charlottesville. Some of the activists also promised ransom fee for people that can help point to the white supremacists who had attacked Deandre in the park.

Lee Merritt, Deandre's attorney, said that there will be a civil lawsuit against Daniel Borden, while others involved in the attack will be called John Doe. And the attorney said his number one goal would be to identify everyone involved in the attack.
