Cheikhou Kouyaté gave the Arsenal defence a run for their money after he scored a goal in the 43rd minute of the game, beating the new Arsenal goalkeeper, Peter Cech with a good header from a cross from Dimitri Payet.
A lot of Arsenal fans are questioning the poor goalkeeping judgement of Peter Cech after the first goal, as they believed he could have done better stopped the visitor having the lead.
Also in the 57th minute of the game, Mauro Zárate scored the second goal for Westham United as he disposes Oxlade-Chamberlain at the edge of the area, shooting a goal that caught Peter Cech off guard.
