Video: Donald Trump Outlines His Plan For 100 Days In Office

Donald J. Trump once again ditched the media and decided to go with his favourite tool, social media to announce his plans for the 100 days in office. The President-elect releases a video talking about the core principle of his campaign and administration "putting America first," by laying out his executive plans for his first 100 days.

Trump has said his first 100 days will include; scrapping regulations on energy production, withdrawing from trade agreements and "investigating all abuses of visa programs."

The president-elect via his video message posted on Facebook said;

Whether it’s producing steel, building cars or curing disease, I want the next generation of production and innovation to happen right here, on our great homeland: America – creating wealth and jobs for American workers.

The video posted also would help the aides to the president-elect capture how they like him to be seen by the American people, and also avoided him from questions from the press.

The president-elect has been holed up in Trump Tower and his golf club in New Jersey in recent days meeting with potential cabinet members and advisers.

On Trans-Pacific Partnership

Donald Trump also said he would issue formal notification that the US would withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a trade agreement between the pacific-rim countries that is now stalled and virtually dead after Donald Trump was elected President.

Instead, Trump has said he would work out a "fair" bilateral agreement.

On Immigration

The President-elect said he will direct the Department of Labour to "investigate all abuses of visa programs that undercut the American worker," and would rescind on "job killing" rules on clean coal and natural-gas production.

On Cyber And Other Attacks

He said he would Department of Defence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to come up with plans to protect American infrastructure from cyber and other attacks.

Ethics Reform

Donald Trump in his campaign has said he would "drain the swamp" in Washington, to get rid of corrupt politicians. In his transition update, Donald Trump said there will be a 5-year ban on executive official from becoming lobbyist after they leave the administration and a life ban on executive official lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.

Before ending the speech, the president-elect said;

These are just a few of the steps we will take to reform Washington and rebuild our middle class. I will provide more updates in the coming days, as we work together to make America great again for everyone, and I mean everyone.
