Ku Klux Klan Member, Frank Ancona Shot In The Head

Body of a self-proclaimed ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan, Frank Ancona, 51, resident of Leadway was found near a big river by a family who had gone fishing. 

According to the Washington County Sheriff Zach Jacobsen, they had got the information that Frank was missing on Thursday. They police later learned that a Federal Forestry Service employee found his car near the forestry service road off of Route P in Potosi. 

          

Jacobsen said;

Deputies responded on Friday and located the vehicle and secured it,We left deputies at the scene and secured it overnight due to the loss of light. On Saturday morning we conducted a search of the area by foot by member of the Potosi Fire Protection District and the sheriff’s office. We didn’t locate much of anything in the woods, but we did locate evidence of a burn pile near Mr. Ancona’s vehicle.

We processed the scene and the body was transported by the Washington County Coroner’s office for an autopsy to determine a cause of death.The body was positively identified as Frank Ancona and his family was notified.

Investigating His Death

 

Frank Ancona was reportedly last seen by his wife, Malissa Ancona, when he was allegedly going to work on Wednesday. It was on Friday that his car was found in a heavily wooded remote area of Washington County in the Mark Twain National Park. Since its nightfall, the area was secured for search to start the next morning(Saturday).

According to Malissa, Frank had got a call from his workplace that he should drive to deliver a part across state lines, as this is what he does for a living. 

Frank employee had denied calling him on that day to deliver to deliver across state.

When officers went to Malissa and Frank's house, they met her with her son, Frank's stepson. Officers also saw a safe that looks like someone had beat the side out of the safe, and the everything in the safe was missing.

The Officer also questions Malissa post on Facebook, seeking for a new roommate. 

Malissa said she had posted that on Facebook the same day Frank left the house. She said because when Frank was leaving the house and going across the state line, he picked up some of his clothes, and had told her that when he is back from the trip, he would be filing for a divorce.

Also, all of Frank's firearms are gone, and Malissa said he had taken all his firearms when leaving the house. His neighbours, also families who live next door said that he couldn't have taken all his firearms, Moreover, the gun he takes with him on a daily basis was left in the house, and Malissa turned it over to the officer.

Autopsy Report

The autopsy report of Frank showed he was shot in the head, and charges are said to be filed on Monday Morning.
