The Nigeria president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a 19-member transitional committee that will liaise with the federal government committee to ensure a smooth transition of the new government.
The committee was appointed in Abuja today, the 29th of April, 2015. Speaking at the ceremony, the APC National publicity secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed said :
The terms of reference of the committee include to develop a clear framework for liaison with the out-going Administration for purposes of a smooth hand-over/take-over and to receive hand-over documents from Ministries, Departments and Agencies and itemise the most important or most urgent issues confronting the in-coming government.
The 19-member transition committe are :
